Fireweed is a true backcountry experience, nestled deep in the Maine wilderness. Because of our remote location, the adventure begins before you even reach the front door!
While our team will shuttle all of your luggage and heavy gear up for you, your arrival requires a self-powered 3.5-mile bike ride with roughly 800 feet of elevation gain over intermediate terrain. RISE will head straight to the hut at a mellow pace, with ample break time and focus on climbing skills. BLOOM will move at a faster pace to allow time for more trail exploration beyond the hut. ROOT - its totally up to you, just don't be late for dinner!
We share this because we want you to feel successful and energized from day one. To fully enjoy the retreat, we gently recommend that you feel comfortable with sustained climbing and possess a baseline of trail fitness before the weekend arrives.
If you are unsure whether your current fitness or skill level matches this initial ride, please reach out to us —we would love to chat and help you decide if Fireweed is the right fit for you!
Space is LIMITED. Registration closes August 21st or at time of Sell Out. A waitlist is be available. Please familiarize yourself with Still Peaking LLC Policies before registering.
